I just purchased a 1992 240GL and the clip (that's how I would describe it) that sits in between the rollers on the lower hinge when you open the driver side door is missing, therefore the door will not stay open. Has anybody installed one of these? Can I use the one from the back driver side rear and install it up front? How hard is the installation, does the door have to come off?
