location of wiring harness grey connector 200 1993

Hey Guys,
Feeling very humble here tonite - can't find the darn grey connector on the firewall. There are two bundles going into a mondo rubber grommet just above the accel cable. Is one of those it? How do I pull off that grommet? It seems firmly locked in there. Does it slide out along the cable bundles? Maybe I have totally the wrong thing. Can someone help me in my denseness? I've been reading about the grey connector here for years but never had to find it before and I can't find a good description in the archives. Troubleshooting an alt problem and need to check voltages there.
