Stalled out why? 900

i have a 1991 940 Turbo with 159k miles on it. It has been driving fine until today. First thing, when i was in second gear still accelerating, the car felt like i had taken my foot off the gas for a second. Then the engine felt like it was vibrating more than usual. Then once i got to a stop sign, my car stalled out but started back up without hesitation. Later, i took it around the block to see if it was still acting funny and it was driving fine. Any ideas guys?
