Broke a stud off dang it 200 1986

Pulled a good one today,

Knew Igna had a Thermostat stuck open for four weeks, even had new one in the back ready to go. Temp never got but a bit past 8:30 but it has been in the 70's and 80's so no hurry. Well it got cold here today, (Cold = less than 50 Degree's) and the temp was not moving past 8:00 at the most. So pulled her nose in the garage and stuck the new one in. When putting the nuts on, used a long handle socket wrench. Got carried away and snapped the stud off, did leave some sticking up. Is not leaking right now and the temp is back to just above 9:00 am by the way. But know that this needs to be fixed and not put off.

Best way to get this is out is?
