My recently purchased ' 91 244 has a broken rod on the # cylinder. Why would this have happened? I bought it in this state, and I'm planning to swap another B230 engine into it. The engine that I have is a 740 NA from an '87 or '88. I know the distributor configuration would have to be changed, and this earlier engine doesn't have a CPS. Is there a place that a CPS can be installed on this earlier engine to make it work?
