Brownish ATF and howling sound 200 1988

Hello everyone,

I need your help to figure out what is going on with transmission in my Volvo.

Here is my story:

I bought my car(it is 1988 240DL) about 3 month ago from my friend, who was the original owner. The car is in very good shape. She took really good care of the car, and I have whole car's history on the paper.
About 2 month ago I decided to do transmission flush because the fluid was dirty. I went to MIDAS to do the flush( I did not know that I can do it by myself). After they done with flushing I drove about 15 miles, and when I came home I decided to check the fluid level. The dipstick was dry. I looked under the hood and ATF was everywhere. They did not tighten the cooling line enough, so it was leaking from there really bad. Next morning I called them. They towed the car and then tightened the cooling line and filled with ATF. After few days i noticed a howling sound coming under the hood. It was like hoooooooo hoo hooooo hooooooooo.... I took a hose to listen, and I found that the sound is coming from the transmission cooling line, closer to radiator. Then in about 1 month the ATF became brownish.
So now I have the hooo sound sometimes and brownish ATF( it is not so dirty like it was before the flush, but it is not fresh). The car drives good though.

Any ideas what could be the problem?

Thank you in advance!
