I've seen people post this in the past and I have never experienced it until now.
This weekend I gave the car a tune...i.e. Plugs, Rotor, Cap.
Along with Cleaning the Flame trap, Taking off and cleaning the throttle body and taking out and cleaning the Idle Control Module.
Unfortunately because I have done all these before, I did not run the engine between the changes so I do not know which procedure triggered my idle problem.
Once in the past after cleaning the idle control valve the idle was high for a few seconds but I contributed it to the volitile cleaner.
So now I get this higher idle SOMETIMES
or the idle surges SOMETIMES
or it idles nice.
This can happen during the same drive. I come to a stop sign and it's anyones guess how it's going to idle.
The Bellows has no leaks and it was seated correctly.
I did not replace the perfect looking Throttle body gasket, woul air getting in there cause a low or high idle?
Any ideas?
