Frequency Valve help please 200

I have earlier posts on my fuel and emissions problems on my 79 242GT, B21F, manual tranny. I was informed that a missing connection(brown and green wire) went to the Frequency Valve. I checked the system from top to bottom. I followed the fuel pressure and return lines to the Fuel Distributor. The return line feeds directly into the fuel dist. with a banjo fitting. There is no frequency valve in the line anywhere. I can not see how it was attached if the return line has a banjo fitting and no other connection. The line would have to have a split somewhere for the valve to be installed. The Bentley shows the valve sitting between a short line connected to the fuel dist. and the other side having a regular screw on type fitting. The way I understand it is that the valve is inline on the return line attached near the fuel dist. So my question is, Does anyone have a used or extra Frequency Valve that they might be willing to sell? Second, will it hurt to run it without a frequency valve? I know the 02 sensor will not control anything without there being a frequency valve present. Thanks for any help you can provide..Max
P.S. How did someone remove this valve and there still be a banjo fitting on the end of the return line going into the fuel dist.? According to Bentley there are two screw type fittings that connect the valve.
