Okay, this is probably a stupid question but I've searched the FAQ and boards as thoroughly as I can and haven't found anything.
I've got a problem with my driver's side taillight cluster (occasional bulb failure for the turn signal, tail light, brake light, AND reverse light, but never all on the same day). I'm almost 100% sure it's a ground problem, since that's what all the posts I've found have suggested.
The only problem is that I can't FIND the ground to check it. I tore out most of the trunk carpeting tracing this.. The black wires for each bulb run into the rest of the wiring cluster back there and somewhere towards the front of the car.
Where do these wires attach to the frame? Or are they supposed to be right there in the trunk?
Either way, because I have a tendency to break old plastic parts when I remove them, I don't want to keep tearing up the interior unless I really have to. So if someone could tell me where the driver's side ground/grounds would be for these... that'd be great.
Thanks!
