I just wanted to pass along some information regarding the availability of the Skandix exhaust system kit for the stock 740/940 non-turbo cars since these used to be available on Ebay and on their web site and were a great deal at $125:

From their catalog:

exhaust kit non Turbo
all Volvo 700, 900 series 4 cylinder non Turbo from 1991 and onwards, both sedans and wagons, will fit cars with solid (rigid) rear axle only, not for cars with Multi Link rear suspension

complete exhaust kit includes all parts after catalytic converter including full hardware kit, original Skandix exhaust made in Sweden For those who are unsure what axle type is used on their car: If you look underneath the car and you see an axle like on a truck, that is a rigid axle, if you see an axle like on the front of your car (with control arms) that is an independent axle.

At that price, I'll either stick with Starla, Bosal or Ansa or spend the extra bucks for a factory Volvo system.
