Motorola 8M Volumatic 6V Radio 444-544 1958

To make a long story (see below) short, I am in need of some parts for a Motorola 8M (Volumatic) 6V AM radio.

As you might know, I am restoring my fathers '58 Volvo 444. (See http://www.scarolas.com/58VolvoPV444/ if interested.) Cameron Price sold me an original Motorola 8M radio for my Volvo. (Thank you again Cam!) I shipped the non-functional radio up north to Dave Froehlich (Dave's Antique Radio and TV Restorations in Syracuse, NY) to get it "restored" and during the trip both shafts (tuning and volume/tone) bent. This was due to poor packaging on my part. Dave is an awesome guy. He has tried everything in his power to repair the tuning shaft without luck. He has had it over a year now. I have been desperately trying to find another 8M for parts.

I've got about $200 invested in this radio thus far so I really want to get it working properly. Anyone know where I might be able to find another 8M for parts?

Thanks in advance,

--
Tony
