plastic inner door liner 1800

Can anyone tell me how a plastic moisture liner is attached inside the 1800 doors? When I dis-assembled the car 6 years ago I neglected to sketch or note how this is done. Is it between the glass and door (and if so, how high up does it go and how is it affixed), or is it between the upholstery and door but tucked into the openings?
