Over the last few years I have accumulated a half dozen of the 16X6.5 Hydra wheels from 90 740t's. all of them have been the victim of center post tire machines, and have the centers cracked so that they will no longer hold the origional hub caps. I was thinking about grinding the centers down flush, or nearly flush, to accept a small center cap that would fill the hole and leave the lugs exposed. Has anyone else tried this? If so what center caps worked for you?
