Oil seperator box S90-V90

I changed the oil seperator box out probally 80k miles ago in the 97 model
Question I have is the hose that goes from the box down to the bottom of the crankcase-I did not change that hose. I blew through it when changing out the parts and there was no obstructions -can that hose cause a loss of oil if it's semi stoped up? Car has great power and pulling 23 lbs of vacuum at idle and gass mileage is good-just don't figure why the oil is leaving the system like it does.
