Radio wiring 700 1989

Just got an '89 740 minus a radio, and I assume an equalizer used to be there. The radio harness hanging in it seems to have too few wires to match to a standard head unit. A set of small wires are hanging in the dash that I assume came from an amp or something. Can I use any of this stuff or do I have to run/track down speaker wires to the doors?
