Guid and all other owners of circa 1991 940 SE's

Just drove my "new" wagon home last weekend. No problems for 300 miles. Car is super straight and clean inside. No oil dripping on pavement BUT the engine is "oily". Could this be clogged flame trap or other issue? I'm going to flush oil system soon and starting using full synthetic. So far so good..............
