Engine verification 140-160

I have found a couple of 140's in my local auto wrecker - 2 73 or 74 145's. Both are fuel injected. Is there any way of knowing if the engine is a B20 E or F. I would be interested in the E, but probably not the F. Also I am about to install my Bosch electronic ignition from a 75 240, but I have no wiring references. If anybody has a good source for such information please let me know!
