Yep - I am still going on rebuilding my heater.

I have fixed up the heater box - removed rust, filled rust holes and painted with anti-rust paint. I am now ready to put it back together.

Do I need to put as much of the tube up against the heater core as possible?

Is it correct to put foam padding top and bottom of the heater core.
