I'm getting ready to replace the front struts on my non-turbo 240. While shopping on the web, I've been seeing a strut spacer ring-deal that apparently goes at the bottom of the tube, below the strut. Some places (FCP) show it, some (IPD) don't. What is this thing? Is it necessary?
