Power steering pump repair kit... 700 1990

I have noticed the power steering pump repair kit for a leaking from seal before since my front seal leaks and has a bit of wobble. I figured I would just ignore the very minor leak...

Until I started the replacement of my power steering bracket and left the power steering pump without a belt pulling on it and drained the entire system overnight!

So, it would seem that I've waited too long on it.
Vlvworld offers a rebuild kit for the seal, but does anyone have any experience with it? It says it includes a new shaft as well:
"Power steering pump repair KIT. Fix a leaking front seal with this kit. Includes new seals, new shaft, lock ring and hardware." -VlvWorld.com

Has anyone done this? I'm good with small parts (like electronics) but haven't a clue how to do this job.
