I know that many of the European Volvos, especially in Holland, can operate on
natural gas. I'm wondering if some of you can tell us what is involved in the
conversion, particularly in cost and changes necessary to the engine, and how
your own experience has been in terms of economy of operation and performance.
This is a MUCH more sensible alternative than taking a foodstuff and forcibly
converting it to a mediocre fuel, at least in my opinion.
Also if you know of people using alternative sources of methane (digesters, etc)
as opposed to fossil natural gas, I'd be interested in knowing about that likewise.
