Putting an airbag into a pre 90 240? 200

Hi all, total newbie here.

I just got a 93 240 wagon, and I love it. So much so that I'm thinking of getting a 240 sedan as my daily driver.

I really like that the 90-93 240's have airbags, but I'd also like a sunroof, and I seem to only see those readily available in older (pre 1990) 240's. (at least in online listings).

So my question is, is it possible to retrofit an older 240 with the airbag system from a newer 240? or is that just wishful thinking?
