Curious THUNK noise on warm start. 200

82 245 Gl, b21, no turbo 157,000 miles, doesn't burn oil, no rust. upon warm start right when the motor catches I get a noticable thunk from the right side of the motor, it has done it for as long as I can remember but it just makes me curious as to what causes it. Could it be a quick bit of piston slap? It doesn't carry on at all it just right when the motor fires and then no more noise. Other than that the motor is basically quite (minus the general squeaks and what-not) Got any ideas guys?
