Just wanted to let anyone interested know - today starts a summer series at nytimes.com where one of their writers is traveling across country in an '89 245. He gives the background of his trip, a quick shoutout to the 240, and sets off today. Buying and getting ready for the trip cost him $1,600. I wonder if he used the new car list from here to check things out...
