My 240 DL Keeps Stalling 200 1989

I don't understand it...

My 240DL hasnt given me any trouble until now. The car turns fine but as soon as you take the foot of the gas pedal it shudders then dies. All the dashboard lights come on and I have no idea what could be wrong. This car would start in the coldest weather below zero with no trouble, but today it was like 90 degrees and it just kept stalling out.

Any information would be much appreciated.
