240 1985 got the gas tank off,repaired it with JB Weld...dare I trust it? 200

well,the saga of me accidentally punching a hole in the gas tank..got the tank out..no shops open today ,so I tried the JB Weld product,it has set up very hard,but can I trust it to hold the gas in?I figure I could be saving $100,but I sure don't want to take that tank out again!..has any one had success with this product?..make it a great day!..Kris
