Putting a sunroof in 200

Over in the Pick Your Parts around here I keep encountering the models with sun roofs.... I've done all that I can to maintain this vehicle so I've started to dream a bit - but I was wondering if THIS particular dream is out of wack...

Maybe gutting out a factory sunroof (including all structural parts provided Volvo stuck to their guns on to bolt is better than to weld) and cutting a hole in my brick and grafting it, kinda like a windshield. Anyone taken on this idea?

And, yes, I've seen those DIY Pop Tops - blech! This is a Volvo, not Jose's VW Jetta. Plus, I use the Yakima High Tower Raingutter bike rack....
