'84 wagon with really bad vibration in the front 200 1984

hello again all, I have another stumper for you involving a rough vibration.
i've been working on my dad's '84 wagon. he's been complaining of a really bad vibration at the front of the car.. so i took it for a drive. he was right, it's reallly bad. BUT the vibration completely disappears when going around curves to the LEFT. the vibration gets worse when turning to the right.
This lead me to believe in needed an alignment or something along those lines. I took it to a well known tire and alignment shop in town and they said it was in perfect alignment and all parts felt tight including inner/outer tie rods, ball joints, a-arm bushings, the whole nine yards...
all motor and tranny mounts have been replaced not long ago and are fine. The front tires were pretty poor so I replaced those as well and the vibration is the same. There is no noise or slop coming from the wheel bearings either.

any ideas here guys?? thanks for any input!
