FYI,
If anyone is having problems with the A/C relay on the MCC board. The FAQ shows how to re-solder the contacts; however, in my case the solder joints were OK. The relay was actually going bad and would not engage when the interior of the car was hot. Sometimes it would work if you bang on the dash.
Anyhow, I found an exact replacement that is cheap and easy to change. All you have to do is use a solder wick to remove the old relay, and solder the new one right on the PCB. The specs are very close. The old relay is 9V and has a 190 ohm coil resistance. The load to the A/C clutch is about 4 amps though the contacts.
The replacement relay has a coil resistance of 225 ohms so slightly less current is needed to activate it. The contacts are rated at 10 amps. The digikey.com part number is:
Z2570-ND at a whopping $ 1.06 EA
Shipping and handling will cost more than the part. I popped mine in yesterday. It works great. They do have a $5 surcharge for orders under $25.
