I want to installa 3533164-1 stereo into my 1987 740 GLE. This is a newer unit out of an airbag car. The wireing is different then that is in my car. my car has six wires going to the stero that was not there when I got it. it has a black green yellow and red wire on one row, then it has blue gray brown and oragne on the second row. The repalcement has a gray and red striped a gray, a double yellow and wite striped a blue black and green and white on one row, then it has brown and white, brown, white, green and red and orange. Does anyone have a diagram or another way to connect this? I did not pay much for the radio as I bought it as is not knowing if I could get the code, but if I can it will save me a 60 mile drive to get the one for my vintage of 700 seires. This this one might be better if I can get it to work. Thanks for any information. My car has a equalizer under the stereo. if this does not work on my new stero can I just leave it or does the speakers actually go through it or? Nick
