Hello all,

Recently purchased a 71 164 with 102,000 miles, one owner, all records since new. The owner drove the car madly for 4 years, then drove it occasionally for a few more, and then dumped $3500+ in the early 90's to restore the vehicle. After that, driven just a few thousand miles until today. The a/c system(OEM dealer installed) was completely replaced in the early 90's, but there is one minor problem; the blower fan high speed seems just as fast as the med/low settings, and I can't find any electrical information in the Volvo shop manual or Haynes.

How can I diagnose this problem. I even attempted to get info from All-Data Mitchell manuals, but no luck. Can anyone give me a wiring diagram for this dealer installed item?
