Nothing works without the key 900

I have a '92 940T. No brake lights and some other electrical issues.

New to me, but I've notice that I cannot even turn on the dome light (manually via the overhead switch) or anything else without the key in at least the accessory position. I assume the brake lights should work without a key in the ignition as well.

Is this a clue as to my overall electrical situation?

I've done the standard brake light diagnostics.

Thanks for any input.
