Brake Fluid question - 1997 965 900 1997

Looked in Owner's Manual for what spec to use before guessing that it would use the same as my 240s - DOT 4.

Not. Sez DOT 4+.

Checked at the nearby parts houses, AutoZone, Advanced Auto, O'Reilly, etc. Never a sign of DOT 4+. Not even a spot on a shelf where it was but currently out of stock.

So what to get? Volvo Dealer is 20 mile drive, and I do so hate to fill their coffers when I can DIY a job.

Your advice, insights, knowledge and experiences will be appreciated.
