Electric Radiator Fan Cycles on and Off 900 1994

On my 1994 945, when I turn on the AC, the radiator fan comes on and stays on. On my 1994 944, when I turn on the AC, the radiator fan cycles on for 4 seconds and then off for 8 seconds --- and keeps repeating this cycle.

So, tell me, which one is not working right?
