Reality Check on Selling My 240 200

I am considering selling my beloved 1989 240GL. I am the one, the only, the original owner. I picked it up from the Port of Jacksonville with 4 miles on the odometer in Jan 1989. This car is almost like another child in our household. Everyone in the family has driven it as it has been passed down from wife to husband to son and now to 16yr old daughter. It has had one engine replacement (son overheated the engine), all systems work, A/C converted to 134 a few years ago and runs very cold, repainted one year ago, nice interior, etc, etc, etc. It really is in great shape for an 19yr old car with 220K miles. However, we are worried about the reliability and I just don't have the time to keep it going all the time. As you can imagine, even the thought of selling it is a significant emotional event for all. For all you Volvo owners out there, when do you finally say "Goodbye" ?? I know it is only a car, but . . . And finally, what is a realistic price to get for this car? KBB for this 240DL sedan with 220K miles in "Good" condition goes for $1545. Is that realistic? Too high? Too Low?

Thanks for listening!
