Yes it is another R12 AC Question 200 1986

If you had a converted R134 system in your 1986 245DL. And you got your hands on 2 lbs of R12 and could get your hands on a can of Freeze 12. Could that newly located R12/Freeze 12 be added to the converted system with changing the R134 oil? Would you get the same results as the uncoverted R12 System. Meaning do you have to go back to the R12 oil, or can you leave the R134 oil in place and get good results.

Yes I know about not being supported by AC Pro's. Yes I know all about the Connectors being different that the R12 Connections. Got that covered with some old hoses. Have access to a vacuum pump that far exceeds anything that most AC Shops ever thought about using. The system is empty now, have a new Expansion Valve and Dryer on hand ready to install. It was 94 here today and it is time to get Inga back to cooling.

Just want to know about the oil from the R134 conversion and going back to R12 and Freeze 12.

Many Thanks,

PT
