AC advice needed 200

Parent's car, 1993 240 sedan, 2230000 miles. On advice of AC mechanic parents purchased new condenser to be installed. Yesterday mechanic stated needs new hoses, to condenser and from condenser to compressor.

Started pricing on line, about $300 for 2 hoses. I figure junkyard will probably be as bad here in NY.

Is it possible to manufacture hoses at a truck supply,or any other sources recommended?
