coolant pump replacement - hepu or OEM? 200 1991

Looks like the "summer coolant pump replacement festival" is about to start . . .

Our 91 240 is leaking coolant from the pump under the shaft; in addition the seal between the top of the pump and the underside of the head is leaking (seal looks torn--how'd THAT happen?). Can't remember the last time I did a pump on this car (bought it used almost 6 years ago), so I figure it's time to replace it.

I saw that FCP Groton carries both Hepu and OEM pumps. I've had good luck with the factory parts in the past, but read good things about Hepu on this board a while back. Any advice on the best one to use (BTDTs)? I HATE this particular job on these cars, and want to avoid having to go back in there again any time soon (I've also got a minor oil leak at the front of the engine, so it looks like I'll be replacing the timing belt and various shaft seals at the same time).

Thanks in advance--oh, and happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!

Best,

Steve A-
