Intake gasket replaced S90-V90

With the new Green intake gasket now in my 97-960 there are a couple of things I have observed-One- the damn car wants to crusie 80 and will absolutly run out from under your ass if your not carefull. Two- the damn car is faster than I ever remember it ever being. If I had only known earlyier what the difference in this gasket and the red one was it would have been changed out long ago.
Joska aked in another thread about my fuel injector O rings -if I replaced them or not. I did not because just about 30k miles ago I put new ones in when I took the injectors out to have them machine cleaned. I just dabbed some vasoline on the o rings and in their bosses and reinstalled them. Oh yeah -I used the Volvo gasket-no aftermarket part.
Paulli-if your reading this-you were dead on with the idea that my car isn't burning oil-just getting oil by the valve stem seals. While I had the intake backed off I inspected the valves for deposits and found the valve were really clean-except for small-very small pools of oil that had to be coming from the seels above-great call guy.
My vacuum gauge needle now is very solid and still with what ever reading it's makeing-in gear at idle-21lbs-idle in park-23lbs- when I let off of it at 60 the needle is pegged-never did that before.
Any one that has the old red gasket in their car-change it and be ready for some good griiining.
Poolman
