Brakes and Seat problems 200 1983

Hi all,
I'm going to be changing the brake rotors on my 1983 242DL and was wondering if there is anything tricky or special I need to look for or look out for when doing this. I'm going to try to pickup the new brake rotors today or tomorrow and wanted to confirm that the front rotors are the "Girling" brand. I've heard another name one the brake rotors, but I don't know if I need to worry about the difference.
I am also wondering about a seat problem I have. The driver's seat I have has a gash down the front side that is right in front of the vertical metal bar that makes up the right side of the driver's seat. It makes it a bit uncomforatble for driving, although the foam still proves some cushion. But the foam has also riped along the gash so that the metal vertical bar is visible. My question is- is it possible to take the folding mechanism from the seat I have now and put it in a driver's seat from a 1984 245DL? I know the 245's driver's seat doesn't have the folding button that my driver's seat has, so thatz why I'm wondering if I can convert the one to a folding seat. Or would it be easier to try and find another folding driver's seat? Let me know. Thanks for the help!
