83 245 gl oil temperature gauge not working,where does it receive its reading from? 200

there are two wires on the oil pressure sending I know one is for the pressure gauge ,is the other for the temperature ? my Bentley manual does not show any such wiring...I have never even seen an oil temperature set up on a Volvo before, my VW Scirocco had one, does any one have experience with this setup. Kris
