A real Brick 200 1990

For those keeping track: Add another plus for Volvo.

About noon on Saturday, a formerly very nice red 1998 Honda Civic decided to place everything forward of the front wheels into and under my rear bumper.

Final tally, Honda going away on a flatbed.

I drove her home.

I've got red paint on my bumper, a few gouges in the bumper cover, a scuffed rear modesty panel with bent hangers, the rear tow hook is bent and has a broken weld, resonator has a dent.

I am sure the bumper pistons moved since there was quite a bit of damage to the other car. Should I replace them or are they good for more than one hit?

Nobody hurt, only wet from the rain as we waited for the police to wrap things up.

Investigating office commented that he had been thinking of trading in his daughters Volvo for something else, but not any more. "She is going to drive it or walk."
