Hey all,
I'm about ready to ask a bunch of dumb questions, that i have tried to search for on this board... I recently just rebuilt a motor and trans for a 92 244DL, she purrrrs like a kitten & runs like a champ. That unfortunally meant that i had to disconnect the compressor lines... Now i'm ready to get some cold AC flowing, i did drain the Compressor and filled it back up... The Orignal AC system was retro fitted to R-134a (as the sticker indicates)by volvo... so i got the ol vacuum pump out, started to hook up the gauges and I did find the low pressure port... i think... (volvo calls it the "filler valve") & it snapped right into my quick cupling... But i can't seem to find the highside port for my quick cupling...
Or would it be best to disconnect both high and low pressure switches pull the vacumm from there?
Any and all advise would greatly be appreaciated to help this old Bodyman get some cold air flowing in the brick...
Thanks,
