After spending the last couple of years soundproofing my 85' 240 I am currently seriously considering the option to delete the outside radio antenna and replace it with a hidden type internal antenna.

It seems that the pillar mounted antenna is creating an audible road noise at speeds above 40mph which is very obvious after all this sound proofing work that I have done.

I was wondering what kind of recommendations people can make regarding which Hidden antenna type will work best in my application.

I usually listen only to FM radio so if wouldn't be bothered if I lose a couple
of AM stations.

Any thoughts?
