Front end shudder 200

I'm trying to get rid of this annoying shudder. If you hit a bump the steering wheel shudders and you can feel the tires sometimes loose contact with the road. I replaced the ball joints and the outer and inner tie rods are new. I did the struts a few years ago but damaged the thread on one so I'm not sure it is tightened as it should be. I'm hoping if I redo the struts the problem will go away. Anybody experience this problem?
