Cooling system pressure 200 1984

A couple days ago, I was doing some routine maintenance on my '84 wagon... replacing a motor mount, oil change.. regular stuff.

I noticed that my upper radiator hose was blown up like a balloon. I took the cap off the coolant catch tank, and that released the pressure... There is no radiator cap of course...

Do I just need to replace that lid on the catch tank? Or is there another pressure relief valve on the radiator?

That much pressure in there, and the car hadn't been started since the day before....

Thanks for insights.
