OD and Starting Questions 700

Hello all, Just got my first turbo, It is a 87 740 4 speed with OD manual. it is also a wagon. It has over 204K miles on it
I have a couple of questions.
1. I think that the OD relay is going bad. After driving for about 30 to 40 minutes there seems to be an issue after i go through the gears. When you go from 4 to over drive (5) it wants to pop in and out of OD.
Also would like to know which relay it is. I know it is in the center console.
2. When I start the car it revs up to about 1500rpm then back down to below 500rpm. Sometimes it does die. restarts easy goes through the process again unless you give it a little gas. It seems to idle fine after it has been driven for a short time.
