Whew! My day for car problems!
My car... 1995 940 Turbo with ABS. My problem... I am an idiot!
I totally screwed up bleeding the brake fluid with the pressure bleeder. I know it's supposed to be idiot proof... but I'm the idiot who's here to prove it can be screwed up.
Since it had been two years since I'd used it, I forgot to assemble the little interior sucking spout that pulls out the fluid from the pressurized container. Consequently, I wound blowing air through the brake line through to the right rear brake.
Once I realized my mistake, I corrected the pump and proceeded to finally pump at least a pint or two of fresh fluid through the right rear line.
Anyhow, after doing all the wheels, and pumping the brakes a few times after each, I took the car out. The brakes are still spongy. I assume there's still bubbles in the line.
Question: Should I just keep pumping more fluid through the right rear wheel? Will more bubbles come out? Or is there some interior ABS chamber that I emptied out that can't be bled through the rear brake bleeder? And should I take it in to let a professional handle it.
Thanks for all your help...
