Silicone v. rubber vacuum hoses

I need to buy some vacuum hoses. I've always bought the regular rubber ones. I did buy and install a length of fabric-reinforced hoses from ipd, which are holding up well but they have only been in service for a few years.

Which are the best hoses to buy - silicone, fabric-reinforced or regular rubbers? The longer they last, the better!
