All,

I was hoping someone could provide some thoughts or help. I started my 84 245 turbo yesterday & it ran on a very choppy rough idle. It briefly acclimated & ran normal then once I hit the gas, it would go directly into the yellow on the turbo gauge. One I took my foot of the accelerator it would bottom out on the gauge. I then lost my power brakes on the highway. The car stalled upon stop & I was able to get it started to move to a parking lot for a tow. The car will not turn over & seems to have a popping sound over the air filter when I attempted to start. Any feed back is greatly appreciated.
